Assam Congress terms Prime Minister Narendra Modi as 'Dis-courteous Person'

Guwahati: Leader of opposition, Debabrata Saikia on Wednesday termed Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a dis-courteous person for his alleged disrespectful approach towards the Congress party.

Addressing a press conference, Saikia said, "PM Modi and BJP party had disrespected his opposition party by not inviting single Congress leaders who are also the public representatives of the state at the inaugural event of the longest rail-cum-road Bogibeel Bridge. Earlier, during Bodo Agreement former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Home Minister LK Advani had invited Ex-CM of Assam Tarun Gogoi at the programme, but Modi had shown how opportunist he is."

Saikia also alleged that such approach by the PM Modi violated the democratic values of the constitution of the country.

He also claimed that the PM Modi to be a liar and appealed to the Prime Minister of India to fulfil the promises he made before the people of Assam since he became the Prime Minister of India in the year 2014.

Saikia also alleged that the BJP party is a communal party who tries to communalize the nation with their communal and hatred politics by introducing Citizenship Amendment Bill, 2016.

He further appealed the Prime Minister of India to focus on the Hindustan Paper Corporation's revive package of Rs 1900 crore. Saikia further claimed that there has been no clearance order of the package from Prime Minister Office in this regard.

Also, vice-president of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) and senior leader, Pradyut Bordoloi termed PM Modi to be a brilliant actor in the world.

Bordoloi also mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was fluttering the 'Axomiya Gamusa' over a jeep near the Bogibeel Bridge proves how good an actor he is. He also mentioned that PM Modi's lackadaisical attitude towards the people of the nation. "Both the combination is a very lethal combination in politics," claimed Pradyut Bordoloi.
