Assam Down Town University Celebrates 9th Foundation Day

GUWAHATI, Sept 11: The Assam Down Town University celebrated the 9th Foundation Day at its Panikhaiti campus on Tuesday. The Programme started with flag hoisting by Dean of Studies Prof Bandana Dutta followed by ceremonial lamp lighting by various dignitaries. In his speech, Down Town University Vice-Chancellor Dr AJ Choudhury termed the higher institution as a ‘Rainbow University’ with students from various parts of the north east region as well as students from countries like Nepal, Bangladesh and Bhutan. The Vice Chancellor also released the annual news bulletin of the University, a release said.
