Assam Elections: Draft Electoral Roll in Kamrup (M) Published

GUWAHATI, Sept 15: The draft electoral rolls of the four Legislative Assembly Constituencies (LAC) falling in the Kamrup Metro district – 51 No Jalukbari, 52 No Dispur, 53 No Guwahati East and 54 No Guwahati West – were published on Saturday in all the concerned polling station locations, office of the District Election Officer and office of Electoral Registration Officers (EROs). The time for revision and filing of claims and objections is from September 15 to October 31. Across the four Legislative Assembly Constituencies, according to the publication, there are altogether 1052186 voters, out of which 528387 are male and 523760 are female while 39 are third gender. Moreover, there are also 9261 D-voters. On the other hand, the total number of polling stations is 1195.
