Assam Engineering College (AEC) Bags First And 2nd Prizes In Quiz Contest

GUWAHATI: The Kamrup(M) District Administration organized an election-related quiz competition at District Library here on Sunday.

The district-level quiz competition was part of the district administration’s initiatives to make people aware of voting, especially the new generation voters. Students from Gauhati University, Cotton University and various colleges and other educational institutes of the district took part at the quiz competition.

While the first and the second prizes went to the two teams of Assam Engineering College (AEC), the third prize went to the team from Law College of Gauhati University.

The winning teams were given away prizes by the district administration. The three winning teams are set to take part in the State-level election-related quiz competition slated for March 24 organized at IIT-Guwahati by the State’s Chief Election Officer. Quizmaster Dilip Sarma conducted the competition.

Meanwhile, the district administration is going to organize road dramas in the district on Monday so as to bring about awareness among voters.
