Assam government carried out major reshuffle among in Assam Police

GUWAHATI: The Home (A) Department of the Assam government on Tuesday carried out a major reshuffle among in Assam Police. As per the order Siddhartha Buragohain, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Baksa is transferred and posted as in-charge Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Gossaingaon.

Similarly, Pankaj Yadav, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Barpeta is transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Sarupathar, Dhansiri, Golaghat. Pushkin Jam, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Tinsukia is transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Maibong.

Saurav Gupta, Superintendent of Police, Nagaon is transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Parhatjhora with effect from date of taking over charge vice Dipak Das, APS transferred.

Partha Protim Das, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Dibrugarh is transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Tarnulpur.

Mrigakhl Deki, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Golaghat is transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Rangia. It is to be noted that several other SDPO and DSP rank officers were also included in the reshuffle process.
