Assam Government effects reshuffle in bureaucracy

GUWAHATI: The Assam Government on Tuesday relieved VS Bhaskar, chairman of Board of Revenue and Additional Chief Secretary of Hill Areas, Mines & Minerals, Pension & Public grievance departments from the additional charge of Additional CS of mines and minerals department. Avinash Purushottam Das Joshi, Principal Secretary of Sports & Youth Welfare, Environment & Forests and Excise department is transferred and substantially posted as Principal Secretary of Environment, Forest and Excise departments. He will also take additional charge of mines and minerals department. On other hand Dr M. Angamuthu, Commissioner and Secretary of WPT & BC, Tourism, Secretariat Administration and General Administration department and Commissioner of North Assam Division has been posted Commissioner and Secretary of Sports & Youth Welfare department as additional charge.
