Assam Government to provide Ex-gratia to next of kin of COVID victims

GUWAHATI: As per the notification issued by the Principal Secretary to the Government of Assam, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, an ex-gratia amount of Rs 50,000 will be provided to the next of kin of each COVID deceased under State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) in Kamrup (metro) district.

In this regard, claim forms have already been provided at all Circle Offices and all beneficiaries have been asked to collect the forms from the Revenue Circle of Kamrup (metro) district or directly from the office of the Deputy Commissioner and chairman, District Disaster Management Authority, Kamrup (metro) district and submit the forms accordingly along with the required documents.
