Assam Governor Condoles Death of Tandon

GUWAHATI, Aug 14: Assam Governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi mourned the death of Chattisgarh Governor Balram Das Tandon who breathed his last on Tuesday.

In his condolence message, Prof Mukhi said, “Deeply grieved to learn the demise of Balram Das Tandon. A prudent and towering personality in Indian public life, his death is an irreparable loss to the society.”

Prof Mukhi further said that he was a multi-faceted personality who contributed greatly to public welfare. He also expressed his condolences to the bereaved family, friends and prayed to the Almighty for eternal peace of the departed soul.
