GUWAHATI: The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has directed all affiliated schools to promote Higher Secondary (HS) 1st year students to HS 2nd year, regardless of whether they appeared completely or partially in the annual exams or could not sit for any paper at all due to "unanticipated natural calamities" after filling up the examination forms.
A Notification issued by AHSEC's Controller of Examinations further directed the heads of institutions to upload the marks of the students on the relevant portal so that mark sheets may be issued to the students for future use.
