Assam Jatiya Bidyalay Fellowship-2018 on Kulada Bhattacharya

GUWAHATI: The ‘Assam Jatiya Bidyalay Fellowship-2018’ will be conferred upon veteran actor Kulada Bhattacharya.

Talking to the reporters at the Bidyalay premises on Thursday, the Assam Jatiya Bidyalay Academic and Social Trust announced that along with Bhattacharya the honorary award will also be conferred upon noted singer Dipen Baruah and petrified novelist Ranju Hazarika.

The fellowship and honorary awards will be conferred in a function, ‘Geet Mator Godhuli’ and fellowship conferring programme to be organised in the Assam Jatioya Bidyalay premises on October 28. Notably, the AJB Trust will provide a monthly honorarium of Rs 5,000 for two years in connection with the fellowship to Kulada Kumar Bhattacharya.
