Assam Legislative Assembly session likely in mid-December

GUWAHATI: The Assam Assembly is likely to sit for a session in mid-December, sources said. Meanwhile, with the retirement of Assam Legislative Assembly's (ALA) Principal Secretary Mrigendra Kumar Deka on October 31, 2020, Amarendra Narayan Deka is looking after ALA's administration as Secretary (in-charge). Deka assumed the charge of ALA at a simple function on October 31, 2020.
