Assam Police arrested 4,198 people; over Rs 2.1-crore fine realized

GUWAHATI: The Assam Police, on Friday, informed that it has arrested 4,198 people across the State and realized Rs. 2,12,16,450 fine for the violation of lockdown norms. In its daily report on the lockdown, the police said that 2,012 cases have been registered for 2,703 incidents since the beginning of the restrictions. Besides, 24,995 vehicles and 32 boats have been seized during this period.
