Assam Police arrested drug peddler in Guwahati city

GUWAHATI: In a joint operation conducted by the Chandmari and Narengi police, a huge quantity of drugs was seized from Narengi area on Thursday night. The operation was conducted acting on a tip-off where a person named Saidul Islam was caught red handed along with the drugs. According to the police, Saidul is a resident of Panjabari area and is related to drug smuggling in various areas of the city.
