Assam Police detained four youths for trying to buy drugs in Guwahati
Acting on a tip-off, the Panbazar Police on Wednesday detained four youths while they were trying to buy drugs nearby the parking at the Guwahati Railway Station on Wednesday.

GUWAHATI: Acting on a tip-off, the Panbazar Police on Wednesday detained four youths while they were trying to buy drugs nearby the parking at the Guwahati Railway Station on Wednesday. The detained youths are -- Sagar Das from Rehabari, Pranab Saha from Fatasil Ambari, Dinesh Paswan from Uzanbazar, and Amit Kaur from Rangia.
According to the police, the youths arrived at the parking to buy drugs from Afsara Begum alias Tulu and her son Chotu. However, the personnel were not successful in nabbing the duo as they fled the spot. The police seized 23 gm brown sugar and 40 empty containers from Jahnara Begum's hut constructed near the station's parking.
