Assam: Police recover body of missing youth, suspect murder, 1 apprehended

The mother has alleged many others involved in the death. However, the police have denied such claims.

A 26-year-old man who was reported missing from Pandu, Guwahati has now been found dead. Krishna Prasad, a resident of BBC Colony in Pandu had gone out with his friends on Monday. After which he reportedly went missing. His parents contacted the Jalukbari Police Station in Guwahati.

Two days later, the body of Prasad was found in the Loco Colony drain.

As per Police reports, injury marks have been seen on the body and they suspect murder. The Police have arrested one individual named Pintu Paul in connection with the case.

Meanwhile, the mother has alleged that there are many others involved in the death. However, the police have denied such claims.
