Assam Police reshuffle its inspector-level officers

GUWAHATI: The Assam Police has shuffled its inspector-level officers in a massive way involving 22 of them.

Some of the transferred inspectors are – Dhaligaon OC Bijit Dadhara has been transferred and posted to SB (Special Branch), while Bilasipara OC Manuj Narzary of Dhubri DEF has been transferred to Chirang DEF and posted as OC of Dhaligaon Police Station. DebajitSarmah of Kokrajhar DEF has been transferred to Dhubri DEF on promotion to the rank of inspector and posted as OC of Bilashipara Police Station.

Udalguri Police Station OC Narayan Patangia has been transferred and posted to SB, Guwahati.

While Tamulpur Police Station OC Ashim Borah has been, transferred to Udalguri DEF OC, inspector Manoranjan Medhi of Border, Guwahati has been transferred to Baksa DEF and posted as 0C of Tamulpur PS. Inspector Dilip Mlli of Dalgaon PS has transferred and posted to Border, Assam, Guwahati.
