Assam Pradesh Congress Committee begins membership drive

GUWAHATI: Rana Goswami, working president of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) on Monday inaugurated a special membership drive from November 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022 covering the entire State, at Rajiv Bhavan in the city, in presence of Debabrata Saikia, Leader of the Congress Legislature Party.

With the renewal of his membership, Saikia began membership drive in presence of a host of senior Congress leaders, including Hiranya Borah, Kamrul Islam Choudhury, among others. Earlier, Rana Goswami said that the APCC targetted to enrol more than 33 lakh members during the drive.
