Assam Pradesh Congress Committee packs off candidates to Dichang Resort
The APCC (Assam Pradesh Congress Committee) has decided to pack off the candidates who contested in the recently concluded Assembly polls to the Dichang Resort at Sonapur near Guwahati.

GUWAHATI: The APCC (Assam Pradesh Congress Committee) has decided to pack off the candidates who contested in the recently concluded Assembly polls to the Dichang Resort at Sonapur near Guwahati.
Officially, the party has stated that the candidates along with several senior leaders will attend an 'Orientation Camp' from April 22 to 28. According to reports, the rooms for the candidates have already been booked and they will arrive at the resort on Thursday morning.
It is to be noted that, few days ago, the Congress expressed concern over the horse trading practices of the BJP in other States. Thus, it may be an attempt from the party to thwart any attempts to poach MLAs ahead of the results on May 2.
