Assam Pradesh Congress Committee reconstitutes media department

GUWAHATI: The APCC (Assam Pradesh Congress Committee) has reconstituted its media department. In an order issued by APCC president Ripun Bora, while senior Congress leader Bobbeeta Sharma has been appointed as the chairman of the Cell, three others – Prafulla Kumar Das, Rhituporna Konwar and Dilip Sarma – have been appointed as general secretaries. Manab Jyoti Kalita has been appointed secretary. The committee had to be reconstituted due to resignation by former APCC media department chairman Bhagirath Karan.
