Assam Pradesh Congress Committee to visit Assam's border with Mizoram

GUWAHATI: APCC (Assam Pradesh Congress Committee) president Ripun Bora has formed a team of leaders headed by leader of the Opposition in the Assam Legislative Assembly Debabrata Saikia to visit the Assam-Mizoram border.

The team consists – AIMC (All India Mahila Congress) president SushmitaDev, Ex-Minister Siddique Ahmed, MLA KamalakhyaDeyPurkayastha, and APCC general secretary PankajBorbora.

The team has been directed to visit immediately and take stock of the present scenario of the border areas and submit a report to the APCC president before November 10.
