Assam State Rural Livelihoods Mission organizes meet for placement of trainees

GUWAHATI: Assam State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ASRLM) organized CxO Meet at Guwahati on Thursday. Chief Executive Officers/ Chief Operating Officers Meet in short CxO Meet was inaugurated by Dr J B Ekka, Principal Secretary, P&RD Department, Government of Assam in the presence of State Mission Director, ASRLM Nandita Hazarika and a host of delegates from Organizations, corporate houses and Project Implementation Agencies under DDU-GKY.

According to a press release, representatives of a total of 55 Esteemed companies like Godrej and Boyce, Devyani international, ITC Fortune, OLA, Packers and Movers, Maruti Suzuki, Hundai Motors, Sudexo , Khadims, Eureka Forbs , CCD, Wipro, Asoke Leyland ,Volvo Eicher Employers across the country participated in the meet. The Meet was an initiative of ASRLM to provide a connection of trainees under the Deen Dayal Dayal Upadhaya- Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY), Project Implementation Agencies under of DDUGKY programme with the Esteemed Organization and Corporate houses of India. The CxO Meets visions to build up strong and sustainable relationship with them where the Skill Trained Youths under the DDUGKY programme can be placed hence providing employment to many rural youths. Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), Govt. of India conferred National Award to Assam State Rural Livelihoods Mission for outstanding performance under Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana (DAY-NRLM) in the category of Institutional Building and Capacity Building.
