Awareness Meet On Social Media Held

GUWAHATI, Aug 19: With apparent misuse of the social media by a section of people, an awareness meeting on the subject was held recently at Jai Hind Club field at New Colony at Pandu. The programme was organized by Nari Surakshya Parishad and Jai Hind Club. The programme was initiated by Manjit Sinha.

During the meet, the speakers urged the social media activists to exercise restrain while appealing to one and all not to believe in rumours. The programme was also attended by NF Railway Public Relation Officer Nripen Bhattacharjya.
