Axam Xahitya Xabha (AXX), Jyoti Chitraban Organized Workshop On Youth Awareness About Nature

GUWAHATI: Axam Xahitya Xabha (AXX) and Jyoti Chitraban have jointly organized a workshop ‘Youth’s impact on nature’ for school going students to boost consciousness about nature and the environment. At a time when the world is quickly being depleted of its resources, and the climate undergoing tremendous change, the fate of the planet lies in the hands of the future generation.

The need of the hour is to encourage the human nature relationship so that the youth understands at a young age the need to return to the roots and start from the dust. Environmentalists have forever been emphasizing the paramount magnitude of nature conservation and with that vision, the workshop is being devised to nurture the feeling of oneness among the adolescents.

Students from Class-VI onwards can participate in the workshop and will be imparted choice of environmental knowledge. The range of topics that will be covered includes observation on birds, preservation of the environment, cognizance on lactating mammals, wildlife preservation, and cardinal knowledge on biodiversity. A documentary on nature will also be screened followed by the release of a book on nature, which can be obtained at a discounted rate on the site.

The admission into the workshop is free of charge, however, the seats are limited. The organizers have called on all the educational institutes in the city to send 10 students each in the awareness programme. The prospectus for the same can be attained from the offices of AXX and Jyoti Chitraban.
