Axam Xahitya Xabha (AXX) released five books under Assam Pragya Project

GUWAHATI: The Axam Xahitya Xabha (AXX) released five books at Xinghopurukh Radha Govinda Baruah Bhawan here on Friday.

The books are — Translation of Lakshminath Bezbaruah Patmugi and other stories by Mitra Phukan and Gayatri Bhattacharya, Axamor Kritichinho by Shantanu Kaushik Barua under Assam Pragya project taken by AXX, Dui Americar Kobita edited by Anubhav Tulsi, Dekhi-Bidekhi Golpo Sambhar by Dr. Apurba Kumar Saikia, Asomor Nepali Jonogusti: Samaj and Sanskriti by Dr. Jaya Kalita.

"In order to show the various aspects of the State, AXX has undertaken the Assam Pragya project. These books will give a brief introduction about the different resources of Assam," said AXX president Kuladhar Saikia.

Nepali Sahitya Sabha president Durga Khatiwara, Oil India Chief General Manager (pipeline service) Sandeep Goswami, and Professor Dr. Namita Deka, writer Nirupama Dutta were also present in the programme, among others.
