Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: Interaction with beneficiaries of 16 schemes

GUWAHATI: Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is being celebrated across the country on the auspicious occasion of the completion of 75 years of India's independence. In line with the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday interacted with beneficiaries under about 16 schemes implemented by nine departments of the Government of India from Shimla.

The Prime Minister interacted on schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, One Nation One Ration Card, Jaljeevan Mission, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana etc. The Prime Minister's event has been named the Gariva Kalyan Sammelan to interact with the beneficiaries of the schemes.

Lok Sabha MP Diwan Baruah, East Guwahati constituency MLA Siddharth Bhattacharya attended the function and interacted with the beneficiaries. Additional Deputy Commissioner Gaurishankar Das, Zilla Parishad CEO Darthi Susiang and a large number of dignitaries were present on the occasion.
