B Barooah College Students Protest against Drastic Climate Change

GUWAHATI: Holding placards that read ‘We Demand the Government to Declare Climate Emergency’, ‘Stop Dropping Trash into the Splash’, ‘Join Us on November 29 for Global Climate Strike, ‘Say No to Plastic’, etc. the students of B Barooah College protested on the college premises against the drastic and hostile change in climate on Friday. They blamed the Government for their inaction on the climate breakdown and environmental pollution. The students were seen with costumes as well as face art, depicting the doom of climate change which is part of demonstrations being held worldwide in a movement dubbed Fridays for Future.
