Banking Hours in Several Districts of Assam Changed, Know Your District's Timing
The Banking Business hours in branches operating in 10 districts of Kamrup (M), South Salmara, Majuli, Bongaigaon, Chirang, Udalguri, West Karbi Anglong, Dima Hasao, Charaideo and Hailakandi will be from 10:00 am to 4 pm.

GUWAHATI: The Banking Business hours in branches operating in 10 districts of Kamrup (M), South Salmara, Majuli, Bongaigaon, Chirang, Udalguri, West Karbi Anglong, Dima Hasao, Charaideo and Hailakandi will be from 10:00 am to 4 pm.
In the rest of the districts of Assam, the banking hours will be from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, as against the 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, stated a release. The instructions were announced by the Chief General Manager, State Bank India (NE Circle), and Convenor of State Level Banker's Committee (SLBC), in view of the new COVID-19 SOP released by the State government. The instructions have been conveyed to all the member banks of the SLBC Assam to follow the new timings. The customers can avail the selective essential services of Cash Deposits and Withdrawal, Government Transactions, Clearing of Cheques and Remittance during the new banking hours.
On the other hand, if you have important bank-related work in July, you must note that banking operations will remain closed for a total of 15 days in the month of July. Of these, nine days are festival-related holidays.
