Benefit Schemes For Farmers

GUWAHATI: It was a perfect new-year gift to the farmers of Kampur under Nagaon district when on 1 January, 2019, the Chairman and Chief Surgeon of Swagat Hospitals located at Guwahati, Subhash Khanna announced various benefits to the farmers of the Kampur village, the birthplace of the founder Chairman of the hospital and also former advocate General late S N Bhuyan. In a press release, Subhash Khanna expressed his appreciation to the State Government, for coming forward with various schemes for the benefit of the people under BPL, APL category. Swagat apart from conducting free health camp and free distribution of medicines shall provide all services at its hospital for 50% or half the cost to all the farmers with BPL and APL cards and proof certificates issued by a competent authority. A separate team shall be entrusted with this noble task so that all transparency is maintained.
