Bhabanipur legislator Phanidhar Talukdar joins Bharatiya Janata Party

GUWAHATI: Bhabanipur legislator Phanidhar Talukdar (AIUDF – All India United Democratic Front) has joined the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) in the presence of BJP State president Bhabesh Kalita on Wednesday. Earlier during the day, Talukdar had also met Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma at the latter's residence in Dispur. Talukdar joined the BJP at the saffron party's State HQs (headquarters) in Hengerabari here. On Tuesday, he had resigned from the AIUDF.
