GUWAHATI: With Bhogali Bihu approaching, delicacies tempting taste buds have glutted Guwahati where Bhogali Mela have been doing a roaring business in various areas like NEDFi Haat, Bipanan Khetra, Brindaban Supermart and other areas of Guwahati.
Locally produced traditional food items were being sold around Guwahati. The newly launched Brindaban Superemart is also geared up with its delicacies of its own brand like doi, cream, kumol chawl, bora chawl, black rice, and other traditional items.
Same preparations can be seen at NEDFi Haat where the stalls will promote traditional items made by the self help groups. They will display all the traditional items like doi, chira, jaggery, coconut ladu, different types of pithas and others items.
