Body recovered by Noonmati Police from Sunsali Jahajghat

GUWAHATI: Noonmati Police on Monday recovered the body of local youth from Sunsali Jahajghat. The deceased has been identified as Shantanu Kalita, a resident of Madahvpur.

As per reports, police have recovered syringes and liquor bottles from the spot and they suspect that the reason for the death might be intoxication. However, the body has been sent for post mortem to GMCH (Guwahati Medical College and Hospital) and the reason for the death has not yet been ascertained.
