Border Security Force Guwahati Frontier band enthralls audience

GUWAHATI: In the series of events on the occasion of the upcoming BSF Raising Day, the Brass and Jazz Band of Border Security Force (BSF), Guwahati Frontier displayed a symphony of martial music at Lachit Monument, Machkhowa in the city on Sunday.

The music of the BSF band, flavoured with patriotic fervour, lifted the spirit of the audience. It also gave an opportunity to the audience to witness and experience the rich music, steeped in tradition and history of the force. On Sunday evening, the surrounding area of Machkhowa reverberated with drum beats and trumpets as the bands gave a symphonic display of martial music. The audience also enjoyed the BSF theme song Hum seema ke Prahari hain played by BSF Brass and Jazz Band. A fascinating dog show by BSF canine sentinels received standing ovation from the audience.

The show was attended by all officers, subordinate officers and jawans of BSF, Composite Hospital, 1st Bn NDRF Guwahati and BSF Air Base Guwahati and their families.
