Brahma Kumaris Organize Programme on Ageing in Guwahati

GUWAHATI, Sept 2: The New Guwahati Branch of Brahma Kumaris recently organized a talk show on the topic ‘Brain wellness programme for the elderly, including ways to detect cognitive deficit at an early stage’. In his role as the key speaker, specialist in Geriatric Medicine from Mount Abu Dr Mahesh Hemadri, said that ageing gracefully is an art that requires knowledge and motivation, adding that it endows one with wisdom and mature perspective. This, in turn, makes the aging person happy, he added. A large number of senior citizens, including BK Sheela, Director, Brahma Kumaris, North East Region attended the programme.
