Lauds Guwahati BSF for commendable dedication
GUWAHATI: Rajni Kant Mishra, IPS, Director General, Border Security Force visited HQ BSF Guwahati Frontier on March 4, 2019 and was received by Rakesh Agarwal, IPS, Inspector General, BSF Guwahati Frontier along with other senior officer of Frontier. Guard of honors was presented to him upon his two day visit of the Frontier. Rajni Kant Mishra, IPS is the 24th Director General of elite Border Security Force and this is his first visit to this Frontier after taking over the charge of DG BSF.
On March 5, 2019 Mishra, inaugurated the newly constructed Amenity Community Centre and Gymnasium at Guwahati Frontier HQ Campus, Patgaon in the presence of BSF Officers, Subordinate Officers and Jawans. This is a milestone achieved in the measures taken to improve the quality life and health of the Seema Prahrie’s and their families.
As per a press release, the DG BSF interacted with Seema Prahries of the Frontier HQ after the inauguration and appreciated the efforts made by the Guwahati Frontier by bringing nose dive decline in smuggling and other criminal activities on the border despite adverse conditions and challenges. He emphasized that challenge in the future for force may increase for which we have to keep up our professional skills in tandem with modernization. He further assured the Seema Prahries that work for providing better infrastructure is going on in the force at rapid pace and its result are visible on the ground.
Mishra also mentioned that, BSF Guwahati Frontier is doing a commendable job in efficiently guarding the International Border and also performing its social responsibility through Civic Action Program for the well-being of the border populace. He also lauded up about several welfare measures for over all holistic improvement of the force and Border Population. Finally, he encouraged the Seema Prahries to exhibit utmost dedication and bravery in the service of the Nation.
