Businessman Ram Niranjan Goenka passes away in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Renowned social worker, prominent businessman, one of the founder members of RSS at Guwahati, philanthropist & founder of greater Fancy Bazar Sahitya Sabha and Assam Vijayadashmi Mahotsav Samiti and head of Goenka Family of Guwahati, Ram Niranjan Goenka passed away peacefully at his Guwahati residence on Wednesday. Ram Niranjan Goenka was 89 years . He is survived by a son, 5 daughters and s host of relatives. His funeral will take place on Thursday at Bhootnath Cremation ground at Guwahati, stated a press release.
