
GUWAHATI: In view of non-interlocking works at Gorakhpur Cantt. Yard for remodelling and commissioning of the third line between Gorakhpur Cantt. and Kusmhi stations under the North Eastern Railway, a few trains of the NFR passing through that section have been either cancelled or diverted, as mentioned below. Cancellation of trains: Train no. 15621 (Kamakhya-Anand Vihar Terminal) commencing journey on September 7 and train no. 15622 (Anand Vihar Terminal- Kamakhya Express) commencing journey on September 8 will remain cancelled. Train no. 15705 (Katihar-Delhi) Express, commencing journey on September 7 and 11, and train no. 15706 (Delhi-Katihar) Express, commencing journey on September 8 and 12, will remain cancelled. Train no. 15654 (Jammu Tawi- Guwahati Express) and train no. 04653 (New Jalpaiguri-Amritsar Jn.) Special commencing journey on September 8 will remain cancelled. Train no. 15707 (Katihar- Amritsar Express) and train no. 15708 (Amritsar-Katihar Express) commencing journey on September 9 and 10 will remain cancelled. Train no. 05734 (Katihar-Amritsar Jn.) Special commencing journey on September 9 and train no. 05733 (Amritsar Jn.-Katihar) special commencing journey on September 11 will remain cancelled. Train no. 15655 (Kamakhya-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra) Express and train no. 05616 (Guwahati-Udaipur City) Special commencing journey on September 10 will remain cancelled. Train no. 15078 (Gomti Nagar-Kamakhya) Express commences journey on September 11; train no. 15077 (Kamakhya-Gomti Nagar) Express commencing journey on September 12 and train no. 05615 (Udaipur City-Guwahati) special commencing journey on September 13 will remain cancelled. Diversion of trains: Train no. 15707 (Katihar Jn.-Amritsar Jn.) Expresses commencing journeys from September 6 to 8 will be diverted via Chhapra Jn., Ghazipur City, Varanasi Jn., Banaras, Prayagraj Jn., and Kanpur Central. Train no. 15708 (Amritsar Jn.-Katihar Jn.) Express, commencing journey from September 6 to 8, will be diverted via Kanpur Central, Prayagraj Jn., Banaras, Varanasi Jn., Ghazipur City, and Chhapra Jn, stated a press release.
