Car Runs Over Forest Guards at Chakardo

GUWAHATI: A Maruti Alto (AS 25 C 3033), ran over two forest guards, identified as Lakhindra Teron and Babul Choudhury at Chakardo on Monday. Police officials and locals of the area immediately rushed the two to a hospital nearby. Babul Choudhury succumbed to his injuries at a private hospital. Meanwhile, the driver and his companion, identified as Baneshwar Basumatary and Babul Rabha, also sustained injuries and have been admitted as well.
