"This is actually a good result for the Northeast. The papers are yet to come in and will arrive by around 4 pm in the afternoon and we can give the confirmation. However, in class 10, the Northeast region gets marks in the 60-70% range. The number of passed out students has remained in that range. Thus, this is not so bad, as far as results go and is actually a pleasant surprise", KK Choudhury, the CBSE director of Guwahati told The Sentinel Digital.
