Central, West Police districts impose Section 144 in areas under its authority

GUWAHATI: To prohibit the movement of people outside their homes amid the corona outbreak, the Central Police District and West District has issued a release stating that Section 144 will be imposed from 7 pm to 7 am in areas under its authority.

The stations that come under the Central Police District are – Paltanbazar, Panbazar, Latasil, Chandmari, Geetanagar, Pragjyotishpur, Noomati and Satgaon. The police stations that come under West Police District are – Bharalumukh, Fatasil Ambari, Gorchuk, Jalukbari and Azara. The order will stay in effect till May 31
