Chain-snatching in city, FIR lodged at Dispur Police Station

GUWAHATI: Bike-borne miscreants snatched a gold chain from a woman's neck at August Kranti Path in the Beltola area here on Tuesday.

The victim, identified as Ajanta Das, sustained injuries during the incident.

Sources said that the incident was captured on the CCTV camera installed in the house in front of which the incident took place, adding that an FIR has been lodged in this regard at the Dispur Police Station.
