Chandra Mohan Patowary Inform to purchase power of Rs 5,100.59 crore

GUWAHATI: Parliamentary affair minister Chandra Mohan Patowary on Tuesday informed the Assembly that the State had incurred Rs 5100.59 crore to purchase electricity during 2018-19. During the same time the APDCL had earned revenue to the tune of Rs 5072.36 crore. The demand of power during 2018-19 was 1894 MW daily. Patowary said the project for complete electrification of villages will be completed by March 31, 2020.
