Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal Condoles Tragic Death of Lecturers

GUWAHATI: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal condoled the tragic death of three lecturers of Chandra Kamal Bezbaruah, College, Teok who were killed in a road accident at Dergaon last night. The accident took place with the vehicle carrying Dr. Ranjit Ranjan Saikia, Keshav Hazarika and Jintumoni Phukan of the college when it collided head-on with an oil tanker. In a statement, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said, “I am deeply saddened by the tragic death of three lecturers of CKB College in a road accident today morning. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and pray for eternal peace of the departed souls”. The Chief Minister also prayed for early recovery of Naren Saikia, who sustained serious injuries in the accident, a press release stated.
