Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal mourns demise of former MLA Barkat Ullah

GUWAHATI: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal mourned the death of former MLA Barkat Ullah. In a statement issued on Thursday, the Chief Minister said as an MLA from Hajo constituency late Barkat Ullah worked for the welfare of the people. He was also associated with several educational institutions and he contributed immensely to the promotion of education in the Hajo area. His death is a loss to the State.
