Child killed in jumbo attack near Amchang Tea Garden, Guwahati

In a tragic incident, a 10-year old year boy was killed after a wild elephant stamped on him near the Amchang Tea Garden under the Satgaon Police Station here on Friday night.

GUWAHATI: In a tragic incident, a 10-year old year boy was killed after a wild elephant stamped on him near the Amchang Tea Garden under the Satgaon Police Station here on Friday night. In the incident, a one and half-year-old child was also injured.

According to reports, both the victims are from the same family. The deceased have been identified as Madhab Kuruwa and the injured is Soni Kuruwa. The injured child is currently undergoing treatment at the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital.
