Childline rescues two minor girls in Guwahati city

GUWAHATI: Childline, Guwahati, with the help of the District Labour Task Force and Guwahati Police, rescued two minor girls from the Hatigaon and Gotanagar areas of Guwahati recently. The two minors were working as domestic help.

Both the girls are now in a shelter home in the city. Childline lodged FIRs against the two persons who engaged them as domestic help. The police also conducted a medical test of the girl rescued from Gotanagar since she alleged to have been sexually harassed.
