Children’s Mother’s Society Observed World Disability Day at Guwahati Press Club

GUWAHATI: On the occasion of World Disability Day, the specially abled of the Children’s Mother’s society observed the occasion at Guwahati Press Club on Tuesday.

Samridhi , a society of Specially Abled Children’s Mothers organized the occasion amidst the presence of the parents and differently abled children. The society sated that there need for ramp is a big issue and a matter of concern.

Present in the occasion Prannay Bordoloi claimed that the society is not really concerned about the problems and difficulties of the differently abled people. Bordoloi added, “The problem is arising because of lack of concern, due to which such a situation has come that they are bound to go for protesting. There is need for ramp in Cinemas and stadiums and also in every place, so that they do not find any difficulty in leading their life.”

Also present in the occasion, Pranab Goswami said that disability is not a disease, rather a condition and it’s our duty to lead them both physically and mentally.
