GUWAHATI: The Chiriakhana Suraksha Mancha will stage a protest at Assam State Zoo on February 21 against the alleged privatization of the Zoo.
"Recently, the Zoo authority secretly sent one pair of black panthers, a Pygmy Hog, a Greater Adjutant, and a White Winged Wood Duck to the Ambani Zoo in Gujarat," added a member of the Mancha.
The Mancha also alleged that the snakes which are rescued brought from different parts of North East are being were being by the Zoo authority.
