Cigarette Sticks Worth 21 Lakh Recovered By RPF In Guwahati Railway Station

GUWAHATI: RPF (Railway Protection Force) conducted a drive against undesirable elements over Guwahati Railway Station on Sunday. During checking, they detected seven poly bundles at PF No 4/5. The poly bundles were unloaded on Friday from T/No 55602 DN. On being checked, RPF found 30,000 sticks of Cigarette of Mynmar Origin in each poly bundles with total 2,10,000 sticks. Values of the detected Cigarettes are approximately Rs 21 lakh. The detected Cigarettes were handed over to Custom Department on Monday.
