CISF 53rd Raising Day celebrated at LGBI Airport, Kahikuchi Camp

GUWAHATI: The 53rd Raising Day of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) was celebrated at the CISF Unit Line of Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International (LGBI) Airport, Kahikuchi Camp recently, stated a press release. A March Past was performed by unit personnel and Utpal Baruah, Chief Airport Operator (CAO), was the chief guest on the occasion.

Chief Airport Security Officer of LGBI Airport Lal Mohan Thakur welcomed the chief guest and thanked all the CISF personnel for their efforts and hard work. He informed that the CISF has been deployed at the airport since the year 2000 and working hard to secure the airport. He also motivated the force members to keep up the good name of the CISF and give service with smile.

After that, a tree plantation programme was organized where the CAO and CISF officers planted saplings.
