Guwahati: City based hospitality training institute Institute of Advanced Mangement (IAM), is celebrating its 29th year of its existence.

The institute is committed to uphold its exuberant vision with a holistic approach to education, which foresees the unique synthesis of technical and professional skills with humanistic wisdom aimed at qualitative enhancement of an individual student life.

At IAM the dedicated team has been trying to foster the spirit of learning and encourage the students to pursue innovative lines of thinking in order to bring positive changes in the world of the hospitality industry.

The Institute is back again this Christmas season with its annual food festival from 4 pm of 16th December.

This year’s theme being Merheba Istanbul which is a Turkish food festival, a first time ever in Guwahati without having to go far, at Pushpanjali, Hengerabari on Sunday.

The menu will have different Turkish delicacies like Ezogelin soup, a nutritious start with lentil; Eti nohut, a kind of chickpeas salad; Kuyu Kebabi, a traditional lamb kebab; Baklava, heavenly baked nuts with layered pastry, assortment of different breads, these are just a few

The Turkish food festival will be showcasing the tradition and culture of Istanbul which will include their various delicacies, traditional dance forms, ethnic wears and many more.

Turkish cuisine is one of the most appetizing and rich cuisines of the world. Key ingredients of Turkish cuisine are primarily meat and vegetables accompanied by different types of bread.

The food festival promises yummy treats for the foodies of Guwahati and the organizers appeal to everyone, college gangs to family and couples to kids to come and enjoy the Turkish delicacies.

With this food fest, IAM will attempt to serve Turkish delights on a single platter to the food lovers of the city.
